PLAYER GUIDE
How to play Süper Lig Draft
Draft a squad from Süper Lig player cards, choose your formation and tactics, and play a simulated football cup in Fanfootball. Historical Arena lets your own squad face clubs from specific seasons.
Build your first squad
- Choose the 2000+ or 2010+ card pool. These describe Süper Lig playing eras, not players’ birth years.
- Name your team and select a formation. Pick 11 starters, then four substitutes.
- Place players in suitable positions. Team chemistry considers the cards and their roles; the highest individual ratings do not guarantee a win.
- Choose a captain and a cautious, balanced or attacking plan. Advanced styles offer more tactical choices.
- Start the cup. Your tactical plan locks for that cup; substitutions and injury cover remain available.
Daily game or unlimited draft?
The daily game offers one bonus entry per Istanbul calendar day. Its special rules appear before you start. After using that entry, the first button becomes free draft, so you can keep building squads. Daily bonuses do not carry into free drafts.
Play against historical season teams
Historical Arena uses your current or saved draft squad. Filter opponents by club, season or championship status, inspect their squads, then choose a single match, knockout cup or league. You start matches yourself; it is not an online manager league waiting for other managers.
Season teams are game representations of historical club squads. They do not claim to reproduce the starting XI from a particular real match. Ratings and results belong to the game simulation.
Start a two-player draft
- Open Draft with a friend from the main menu and enter your manager name.
- Select Create room. To choose an era first, open Room settings.
- Share the invite code or link. Your friend can enter their name and invite on the same entry screen, then select Join.
- In the room, each manager builds and submits an XI plus four substitutes. The room owner can start the league once at least two squads are ready.
Rooms support 2–8 managers and simulate matches from the submitted squads. For taking turns on one device, choose the separate Pass the phone mode.
Challenges and shared rankings
Challenges let another player face your locked team. Eligible cup-winning squads can enter the shared Top 100 for their card pool. Ranking challenges use home and away matches with penalties when needed. Today and Last 7 Days show movements; the ranking itself does not reset daily or weekly.
Where is progress saved?
Your local profile, team archive and local series depend on this browser. Clearing site data or switching devices can lose access to local progress. Published squads, rooms, challenges and shared rankings are stored on the server. Changing the interface language does not change your selected players or match rules.
Are these real match results?
No. Results are simulated from player cards, formations, tactics and match events. Replaying a recorded match shows the same events rather than creating a different result. The site is not a live-score or live-transfer service.
JavaScript is required to play. This guide remains readable without it. Optional analytics is controlled separately from game progress; declining it does not prevent play.
